"Cybersecurity Awareness Event Held"

The “Cybersecurity Awareness” event was held in collaboration with Malatya Turgut Özal University’s Technology Transfer Office and the Information Technology Department. The event took place on May 14-15, 2025, at the Battalgazi and Yeşilyurt campuses. During the sessions, Police Chief Dr. Abdullah GENÇAY provided detailed information on cybercrimes in critical infrastructures, ways to protect against cybercrimes, and the fight against cybercrime in our country.

The activities, attended by students, researchers, and staff, concluded with Q&A sessions where participants’ questions were addressed.
